The new Colour Confuse is coming soon. The App Store button will become a download link once the listing is available. The game is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later.

Watch the rule above the word. “Match the ink colour” means tap the colour the letters are printed in. “Match the written word” means tap the colour the word names. The rule switches every 15 matches. “How to play” in the app lets you practise both.

Yes. Guest Arcade play, the daily challenge, the tutorial and local progress work offline. Online account services need an internet connection.

You get one attempt per UTC day, used when you start it. Your next attempt unlocks at midnight UTC, which may differ from midnight in your time zone.

Earn dots by playing. Finish your first non-tutorial game with at least one correct match each UTC day to earn five extra dots. Every seven consecutive days adds a 25-dot bonus. Missing a day resets the streak but does not remove your earned dots.

Turn on Colour labels in Settings to add a written cue to tiles; those runs are unranked. You can also adjust game sounds and haptics. Animation follows your device’s Reduce Motion setting.

While signed in, open Settings, choose Delete account and confirm. Deletion permanently removes your cloud account, scores, dots and unlocks and revokes the stored Apple authorisation. Signing out alone does not delete the account. If you cannot access the app, email us for help. See the privacy policy for retention and your rights.

This is a fresh version with a separate progress system. Scores and items from the earlier app are not imported.
